Do we really only have 10 weeks left...

Well....I start my 30th week this week! Yay! I cannot believe it! Our sweet baby boy is going to be here before we know it! We have so many things coming up that will just help speed these last 10 weeks along. I had my first shower last weekend in Suwanee! It was great! I am so thankful for everyone who came and all the sweet gifts they gave.

One of the bigger gifts we got last weekend was our crib! I have been SO anxious to get it in his room and put together for him! Thank you JoAnn and Richard for the crib...We are so truly blessed with such wonderful Grandparents-to-be! Here is a picture I got on my phone the other night of it...We haven't got his bedding or put on yet-so I will be sure to take more pictures when we do!

This weekend has been fun! Yesterday morning we got up and headed to Macon for our 3D/4D Ultrasound! It was wonderful! Tuck has always been SO great with ultrasounds-always shows us everything! Well, someone has gotten stubborn since 20 weeks and decided to keep his foot in his face the whole time..yes, that's right, his foot! I just can't believe he was comfortable like that! But we did finally get some sweet pictures of him! It was as if he knew we were trying SO hard to get a good shot...We got a full dvd of the ultrasound as well, so that will always be very special. My mom and Josh's parents were able to come along for the visit as well! Here is one of my favorite pictures we got of him yesterday :)...

As you can tell, there is something kind of squishing the left side of his face... yes, that's his foot. Crazy little thing. Today has been a productive day as well-We painted Tuck's room! Well, not we, Josh painted Tuck's room.. I have been really anxious to get it done before we start filling the room more and more-so I am very thankful he did that for me today. It looks great! We decided on a Taupe for the walls, and I am really glad we did.
This weekend coming up is my shower in Warner Robins and I am so excited! There are quite a few people coming I haven't seen in a while! It is going to be alot of fun! We also go back to the doctor this week-We have started going every 2 weeks...I know, big right! I got really excited when she said she would see us in 2 weeks!

Baby Bump

Well, obviously I am terrible at this whole blogging thing. I suppose I have an excuse though. We have been a little pre-occupied the past 6 months. Josh and I found out on April 4th that we are going to have a new addition in the house! Since then, its kind of been a roller coaster. I was very sick until 17 weeks, so I didn't do much at all but go from the couch to our bed. On week 17-we found out we are having a baby boy! We had the name picked out since we found out we were having a baby, so there was no deciding left to do....There will be a little Harrsion "Tuck" Thigpen crawling around here shortly.. We are both so excited and cannot wait to meet him. The Lord has truly blessed us these past couple months in preparing us for his arrival.

Appointments are going well right now-everything looks great. Tuck is growing just at the rate he should be and my breathing capabilities are getting less and less :)... But I am thoroughly enjoying this time, uncomfortable or not. It is just amazing what God can create. Since I have been holding this precious being inside of me-my perspective on things have changed so much already. The fact that the Lord chose me to keep him safe throughout these 40 weeks is so humbling. I mean, somewhere around December 6th, Tuck is going to be here and he is ours. All ours. The Lord gave us this little being and trusts us with him. What an honor....I am 27 weeks now and like I said things are going great. I enter my 3rd trimester next week and I couldn't be more excited. I have showers coming up as well in the next couple weeks, which will just make this experience all the more fun! We also have moved into a new house since I last blogged. We were so lucky to have gotten the house we did. It has so much for room then the last-which will be great in December! (Especially for the help to come stay ;) Hint..Hint...) We have been here a little over a month and are really enjoying it. Along with the house, I have tried to be a better "cooking wife" as well..Haha... I am not very good at being creative but I am exploring new recipes and it has been fun. I am really interested in making Tuck's baby food-so this new exploring side will come in handy with that project.
On another note, we are very ready for Fall weather in this house. Today has been so chilly and gloomy for the first time this year-and it made me so excited! I didn't end up having to stay at work today, so I went straight to the grocery store to get everything I would need to make chili in the crock pot-and it is smelling so good right now :)! I feel like once the fair gets here in October-its just fun, fun, fun from there on out. I love the holidays. And I have a feeling this is going to be one of the best Holiday Season's we have had yet. Might be a little crazy at first, but we are ready to take it on!
Well, that's all for today. I really am going to try and be better at this from now on...Especially for myself-and wanting to keep track of things for Tuck.. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through these last 3 months. We are so excited for everyone to meet our little man!

I knew that would happen...

Well, of course, I got busy.... I did think about blogging though... It just never ended up happening. I haven't really been on the computer much lately. Its been a fun couple of weeks..well more so the weekends.. but all in all, they were good. This past weekend, Friday night, we went out for Japanese with everyone. It was very yummy. It was Josh and I's celebration dinner for our taxes being done! Haha, turns out we will soon have no car payments.. Yippee! It has all been a true blessing from God..
Saturday, Linds and I were supposed to get up real early and head to macon for this Warehouse Sale...but we ended up sleeping in, and heading up later. It was still fun, I got a cute owl statue and a new beach cover up. So glad about the cover up, I have been needing one.. It will come in handy soon.. Josh and I are going away for a weekend, SO excited! We haven't been "away" together since we got married. I know, i know.. We lived in Hawaii for a year..But seriously, it doesn't count. We have been going non stop since we moved back home, and we NEED it. I am counting the days.. We are thinking Charleston. Anyways, Saturday evening I went to the movies with Melissa, that was fun and really good to see her. We saw Just Go With It. It was pretty funny and cute.
Sunday, Josh and I went and heard Jordy speak and it was really good. Jordy did great. It was so nice to get up and do that with J. Sunday was a really good day with weather too. So pretty outside. I got some much needed grocery shopping done that day too. I really enjoy grocery shopping.. I know alot of people don't, but if I have plans to do it, I like it. Now, if its on my way home from being at work all day, and I need to stop and pick something up... HATE IT.. There is just something about having to stop there when you want to just head on home....
So that about wraps my weekend up. Maybe I'll try and do a weekly post. MAYbe I can committ to that ;)
This week seems to be going pretty good.. Almost half way to the weekend!

Slacking-of course...

I know I have been slacking on the posts! But I have made sure to get a picture everyday...Not very interesting ones...but they'll do... I am at my mom's house right now, so no pictures yet. I'll post them later tonight or tomorrow when I get home. We are getting Chinese and renting a movie tonight. PERFECT. I am pretty tired from the week and being in sweats and on the couch at momma's sounded great =)...

I am not sure what movie we are going to rent yet. We watched The Secritariet last night and it was really good. I remember wanting to see it in theatres but it seemed like it was there and gone right away. Anyways, I really liked it and so did Josh.

We don't have many plans for this weekend. With our schedules, the weekends are our re-coupe time! I absolutely love sleeping in. Tomorrow I am going with Lindsey to try on Bridesmaid dresses in Macon.. I am excited for that. We are ready to start church shopping, but I think Josh works Sunday-so we will see if we can do that this Sunday. I am excited to find a home church.

I have been doing alot of thinking and trying to make some big decisions here lately, as I mentioned before... So maybe soon, I'll post them =)...

TuesdaySnoozeday

Well it is 10:00pm and I am finally home. Tuesday's and Thursday's are my dreadful days.. Work and class...I leave my house at 7 and don't see it again till around this time.. But it will be worth it, right....? So many things are weighing my mind right now.... Decisions, decisions... All in God's timing of course. As long as I do my best to live for Him and stay in the path He has chosen for me, I'll be alright =)..... When you get all frazzled with these big life decisions, its amazing how when you think to yourself, "If God wants me there, He will make it happen, and whatever he makes happen... I CAN handle, because He put me there!", you have a huge sense of CALM. That is my goal everyday.

Well I don't have much more to say, I actually ending up saying more than I thought because I am so sleepy.. I guess once I stop and start typing...I start to process everything running through my crazy busy mind. That's usually when I get home, jump in the shower, and immediately lie down in bed. While my body is unwinding, I lay there processing everything..Thinking...Questioning...It's kind of my time with the Lord these days... He calms me down and I just talk to him until I fall asleep... So now, I guess it will come out as I type at the end of the day..
Well anyways, here is my picture for today.. J grabbed the camera while I sat down when I got home trying to catch some of One Tree Hill...and of course, P flying at me.... Hope everyone is having a great week! Tomorrow is Wednesday, almost half way done!

Just another Monday...

Well today wasn't anything special. I have never liked Mondays... Right now, I don't have class on Monday nights, so it is nice to get to come home. Josh has to work on Monday nights though because of class in the mornings, so it is pretty quiet. Per keeps me busy, of course. My picture today is P playing with his favorite toy.......The toilet paper roll! I could probably save alot of money if I stopped buying him toys and just stocked up on these... He is also doing his usual "head turn" in this picture too..because he saw the camera.... But you can see the roll to the side.. =)

Project 365...

Well I keep seeing different blogs and this Project 365 that everyone attempts. So I think I am going to try it. Josh and I have very busy schedules so we will see how it goes. Taking a picture every single day for one year will probably get difficult. Josh has started classes and I still have till August for school. I got a new job at Georgia Dermatology as well. Well anyways, here goes this project....
